Diversity and inclusion at PVS RS

We can say with full conviction at PVS RS we have a strong awareness and understanding of diversity and absolutely no room for unequal treatment between people. A company needs individuals with different genders, ethnicities, age groups and world views to be able to embrace a wide range of experiences and skills. Only with this diversity from different perspectives innovative and creative solutions can be developed.

Our goal is to be a role model and to create a working atmosphere in which all employees are treated fairly and with respect. This also includes being listened to when questions, opinions or even worries arise. From the perspective of every company, this type of working environment is advantageous because it allows all the positive aspects of diversity to be optimally used.

The following aspects are already anchored in our company culture and build the foundation for further development in the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Gender equality is important to us! Nowadays, it should be assumed that gender no longer has any influence on the recruitment of the position in a company. However, statistics show that in 2020 the proportion of women in management positions was still less than one third. We want to counteract this and show that we care about the person as a whole, that competence and social interaction are key factors in our company. We can say of ourselves, “You don’t notice any differences between genders,” and to even top that, “There are more women in management positions than men.”

Everyone is welcome in our company, regardless of origin or age! The following employee quote sums it up perfectly: “We do have a mostly young team here, but not only. Basically, everyone is welcome, regardless of age or gender. There are also many nationalities represented, as linguistic diversity in particular is valued and supported.” As an international and innovative company, we are pleased that people from different backgrounds, cultures, languages and age groups build teams with strong team spirit.

“My employer accepts everyone as they are. Whether disability or simply being different. Everyone is welcome.”, this statement guides us on the topic of inclusion of people with disabilities. Creating an integrative workplace means adapting it to the needs of employees. Our company headquarter in Stuttgart Degerloch is barrier-free and therefore accessible for everyone. We are also pleased that our customer service teams are also actively supported by employees with handicaps.

It is about identifying abilities, promoting talents and using them skillfully. Those who feel integrated and can be authentic develop their full potential and are more successful.
